CCAP Internship Responsibilities:
The role of an intern encompasses the entire domain of finance across the value chain of data, information and research, analytical opinions and consulting solutions. The intern will provide data and analytical support to senior analysts in Indian and International institutions. He / She would be working on analytical projects that would involve data analysis, industry and regulatory trend analysis, financial modeling etc. The intern will be working closely with a lot of India and international thought leaders in the domain of finance. The intern could also be assigned to consulting where he could be working on converting data into insightful information and sector related models thereby helping CRISIL consultants draw inferences. Interns would be playing an active role in CRISIL's work which is central to the development of India's capital markets, industry and economy.

Some of the projects that the interns may work for include:
Credit rating assignments for domestic and international clients
Consultancy for infrastructure projects in the areas of transport, urban development, fuels, public private partnerships etc.
In-depth research on an industry or company to provide industry or company insights to relevant audience
Risk analysis in the areas of credit and operational risk in organizations
Internship stipend / Assistantship:
CRISIL does not charge course fees for the programme. Interns will be paid a monthly assistantship of Rs. 8,000/- during the first year of the programme, and Rs. 10,000/- during the second.
Intern obligations:
The intern needs to obtain the minimum selection score stipulated for each semester to progress in the programme. The minimum score will be set by the CRISIL management depending on the subjects in each semester. CRISIL reserves the right to suspend / terminate the stipend or the internship if the intern does not score the minimum selection score.
The intern is obligated to reimburse the cost of education (as estimated by CRISIL) spent by CRISIL in training the intern incase he/she discontinues the programme, irrespective of whether the discontinuation was on their own will or due to not being able to obtain the stipulated minimum score. A service agreement to this effect will be signed with the intern while he/she is admitted to the programme.
Placements:
On successful completion of the programme, the interns will be absorbed into CRISIL business units at attractive market related compensation with a minimum salary of Rs. 5 Lakhs per annum. Successful completion implies clearing the minimum selection score set by the CRISIL management.
