We, at CRISIL, have always believed that one needs to think laterally and out of the box to succeed in today's dynamic and competitive environment. Consistent innovation and contemporary thinking has helped us discovered new paradigms and make markets function better. Thought leadership is integral to our success, and the CRISIL Young Thought Leader (CYTL) competition is an endeavour to promote and recognise young thought leaders on campus.
CYTL, launched in 2001, is a competition that invites dissertations from postgraduate students on contextual topics directly related to the business environment. Over the years the competition has attracted intellectual papers across a broad spectrum of issues and has presented a unique platform for aspiring future business leaders. As part of this initiative, we seek cutting-edge prescient thinking, sharp analysis, and engaging communication from talented individuals on campus.
With CRISIL's growing presence in the global markets, CYTL is expanding its footprint to international campuses. This year we plan to extend the competition to campuses in Argentina, Poland and China in addition to India. We invite bright young minds across these countries to join this competition and make it truly global.
CRISIL's senior leaders are deeply committed to this endeavour to promote thought leadership and are involved at every stage of the process, from carefully selecting topics, to objectively evaluating the hundreds of dissertations that we receive. As a participant, it offers you a unique opportunity to showcase your perspective on business issues.
