CRISIL has suspended its ratings on the bank facilities of Commercial Engineers & Body Builders Company Pvt. Ltd (CEBBC). This is because CEBBC has not been providing any information on its operations and financials to CRISIL. The suspension reflects CRISIL’s inability to maintain a valid rating in the absence of information from CEBBC.
About the Company
CEBBC, incorporated in 1979, is the flagship company of the JN group; the company is into fabrication of vehicle bodies. It is one of the largest (by volume) vehicle body builders in India. Its product range includes tippers, load bodies, dumper placers, light recovery vehicles, water tankers and refurbishment of railway wagon. CEBBC has three units in Jabalpur and one in Indore, and has set up an assembly unit in Jamshedpur through a joint venture.
