Summary
Programme Objectives
The Indian financial markets have witnessed a relatively tighter liquidity regime since over a year now because of the mismanagement of assets and liabilities by certain large players in the Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) sector. The quantum of the problem and its effects have been felt across the entire Banking and Financial Services Industry (BFSI) sector. This program looks at the issue from close quarters, analyses the root cause of the problem and tries to put in perspective certain norms which would help in a long way in alleviating the problems faced by the industry while discussing the various roles played by various market participants and the way forward.
