Non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) have been weathering many a storm over the past three fiscals.
Just when they had clambered past a prolonged funding and liquidity ordeal spawned by a credit event in September 2018, along came the Covid-19 disruption, which led to perceived asset-quality worries and, again, funding issues.
To their credit, many NBFCs have shown admirable resilience in navigating the pandemic by focussing on liquidity, provisioning and capitalisation, and doubling down on technology and digitalisation. They have also been tweaking their operational approaches by adopting new business models, which should hold them in good stead.
In this context, CRISIL Ratings is conducting a seminar titled, 'NBFCs:Revival in a post-pandemic era', which offers a platform for business leaders, issuers, investors, policymakers, and other market participants to deliberate on the road ahead.
The event will include multiple presentations by experts from CRISIL Ratings on the following themes:
Growth prospects and the evolving portfolio mix
Asset quality and outlook for stressed assets
Business models of the future
Housing finance
Vehicle finance
Emerging players - their business model value proposition, competition, growth outlook, funding, and liquidity prospects
Each presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with industry leaders and a Q&A session.
Keeping in mind the current virtual environment, to provide more convenient access to stakeholders, this power-packed event will be held over 2 days, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm IST on Monday, November 29 and Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Your registration will enable you to attend both days of the event.
