The second Covid-19 wave has delivered a realty check, indeed.
Residential demand had just started to rebound in the latter half of last fiscal, supported by lower interest rates and stamp duty, and softening capital values, when cases spiked anew.
Consequently, there could be a temporary disruption in recovery, and growth would be uneven across segments and geographies.
On the other hand, commercial real estate had duked out the first wave as reflected in healthy collections for quality Grade A office space. But new leasing deals would be hard to come by with return-to-office deferred yet again. That said, the segment continues to see significant interest from investors.
In this context, CRISIL invites you to a webinar on Thursday, April 29, at 3 pm, where its experts will make a presentation covering:
Sustainability of housing demand and prices in the medium term
Dispersion in residential demand momentum across key cities
Demand-supply dynamics for offices across major markets owing to work-from-home
Credit perspective and outlook of the rated universe
The webinar will be followed by a panel discussion with industry experts, and a Q&A session.
We look forward to seeing you.
