This fiscal, inflation threatens to exacerbate volume pressure. Moreover, the rural segment, which forms an important demand driver for the sector, continues to face multiple headwinds.
Elevated agri-based raw material prices are expected to impact operating profitability of players this fiscal, despite price hikes across product segments.
