Objective
Help a global bank eliminate backlog and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of fund surveillance by automating its manual process for sourcing funds data from thousands of websites and PDFs.

Deployed proprietary automated solution for NAV-based surveillance and draft credit ratings calculation. Highlights included:
Rules- and ML-based extraction of NAVs and ratings drivers from websites, factsheets, and prospectus;
Data quality and validation checks performed using defined rules designed by our credit risk experts and coded by the analytics team;
Ratings driver data mapped to the bank’s scorecard to generate preliminary ratings to be approved by the bank’s credit officer;
Relevant data distributed and stored in client systems (API for public data and client network for private data).
