Objective
To help one of the top US bank migrate from an existing Murex system to an in-house proprietary system via scripted and manual migration. Project required the migration of more than 40,000 trades across asset categories and 40 product types, including complex rate products and exotic products.

Script Analysis: Analysed migration execution scripts to map data flow and lineage between legacy & strategy systems
Rollback Testing: Checked the integrity of database to for restoration in case of erroneous operation
Patch Update: Developed different patches for updating the fee, payment schedule and CSA mappingT

Manual Migration Approach
Data Mapping Templates: Worked with development team to design tools for bulk uploads and templates for data mapping & data transformations
Data Control Checks: Implemented scripts, patches and checks for data quality (CDR, CSA mapping, payment schedules, fees & identifier patch)
Data Validation: Designed validation for data dumps to meet accepted business rules
Trial Migration: Checked downstream impacts in UAT environment before manual production deployment
