Renewable power sector has logged a strong 24% compound annual growth in installed capacity over past 3 fiscals, given strong government push and improving cost economics.

However, recent developments such as attempts at renegotiation of tariffs have jolted the sector and created regulatory uncertainty.

Additionally, there are several lingering issues such as - timely payments from utilities, infrastructure gaps and funding of future capacities, which need to be addressed in order to achieve the set targets.
